http://Origionally built as mobile workshop for Virgin Airlines at Gatwick Airport. Subject in my ownership to huge mechanical up-grade as follows; Excepting the front cross-member, which I rebuilt, [it was fitted with mechanical winch which did some damage], the chassis is in exceptional, origional, condition, NO welding needed! 2 1/2 gallons Waxoil treatment before putting on road. All brakes, suspension fully over-hauled (mainly genuine L/R parts). Re-con 6 stud (heavy duty) steering box. New front springs/housings/Billstein dampers. Was origionally 200Tdi/LT77S engine/box. Now fitted TGV version of 300Tdi (military spec.), 135 Bhp, 270ft.lbs torque; superb to drive, eats TD5’s for breakfast! Dead simple, no electronics! Late spec R380 gearbox & transfer box. Late spec. bulkhead, NO rot! New, genuine doors with tinted electric windows; new, genuine L/R XS spec. 1/2 leather, heated, seats, re-positioned for better room/comfort; tinted, heated screen. Included is a set of genuine ‘Wolf’ type H.D. wheels with as-new Insa Safari tyres. Fiammi awning. The list goes on, & on! The Quadtec (L/R special vehicles) body features elevating roof to give 6′ inside height, side door, hinged tailgate (needs new gas struts). Currently fitted out as Camper van but suitable many uses. Tremendously rewarding to drive, tows suberbly; many trips around UK, Ireland, France, Spain etc. Used mainly to take competition car to events but now outgrown it’s purpose for us so regretably now for sale. You will have to go a long way to find a better Landrover 130 than this one, really! Detailed inspection & test drive essential, bring any expert you like! Priced @ £20k OBO, which I think is very reasonable for a Land Rover in this spec./condition & does not begin to reflect the amount of time/money I put into the project.
