I have owned the vehicle for just under a year and in that time I have maintained the truck to a high standard
brief description of recent work:
Heavy duty steering bars
Genuine Mondial wheels, these really compliment the look of the car
new fuel pressure regulator
4X new genuine wheel bearings
Genuine service components used and all oils changed
ABS pump shuttle switch replacement and wiring harness upgrade (this is a permanent fix for the well known 3 amigos abs fault)
New rubber prop doughnut
center silencer delete pipe
D6 front and rear steel bumpers (winch not included in sale)
terafirma 6mm aluminum fuel tank guard
terafirma heavy duty 2 inch receiver style hitch with drop plate and recovery point included
Good bits:
car has a very solid chassis and is in tip top mechanical condition
the car has only covered 125000 miles in its lifespan of 20 years
the vehicle remains on the standard SLS rear suspension that makes towing and everyday driving far more comfortable than any coil conversion kits
Bad bits:
the only negative thing I have to say about this car is that the clear coat on the bonnet and roof has started to degrade and peel. I’ve had quotes from 2 independent paint shops and they both quoted around the £300 mark to remedy this. discussions can be had if this is something the buyer would like sorting
