Hi there, there is No VAT on this vehicle. PRICED TO SELL! THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE BARGAIN FOR A DEFENDER TD5 WITH GALV CHASSIS AND BULKHEAD JOBS DONE. Commercial Td5 110 Defender with Galvanised chassis, replacement Puma bulkhead and MOT till October 2025. See Pics for MOT certificate (carried out on 11/10/24).
A link to the full CarVertical vehicle check is at the bottom. This is a lovely and clean Defender with a clean history.
Full list of all that I’ve done and what’s been done before me listed below. I am only selling this due to a change in circumstances. This is not your usual run-into-the-ground defender; a galvanised chassis and bulkhead is a must on these old Land Rovers. The chassis is only a year old.
Work Carried out:
- MAER Galvanised Chassis
- Puma Bulkhead
- Front & rear shocks (Terrafirma)
- Front & rear springs
- Galvanised shock turretts
- Brake servo
- Braided brake lines
- Body mounts
- Exhaust
- A-frame ball joint
- Front Bumper
- New Galvanised tailgate
- New Seimens VDO Fuel pump & filter
- New front prop
- New drive belt tensioner
- New black steel wheels all round with Comforser All-Terrains
- Snorkel
- Tracking & wheel alignment
The bodywork is nice and straight and has never been filled. The driver and passenger doors are solid, as is the floor.
She drives and pulls extremely well, and has that lovely Td5 grunt.
This vehicle has none of those dreaded Td5 issues that plague these vehicles.
Oil level is consistent and does not rise, meaning theres no fuel getting into the oil from leaking injector seals.
Fuel filter housing remains at correct temperature after the vehicle has being run, meaning theres no exhaust gases getting into the fuel return lines. Many will know of these issues, but many will not. I have included this information to show that I was aware of these issues when I purchased the vehicle.
Hi and Lo ratio and diff lock all in working order.
There is an immobiliser on the dash which works, and I also have a classic steel roof rack for it (not fitted) if so desired.
This Landy came out of the factory in 1999 as a pick-up and has since had the hardtop added.
Adjustable tow hitch.
I have not used this vehicle for any off-roading or greenlaning while it’s been in my possession.
I believe this is one of the most honest and looked after examples of a commercial Td5 around.
Viewings welcome and highly advised.
